Pretty good budget release, it is a platform game where on each screen you have to avoid enemies and diffuse the bomb that has been lit. Pretty tough initially but playable once you get going.
Great thing with this release is that it has Spectrum version on one side and Amstrad on the other....[leave a comment]
Budget pocket money top down racing game much like the other games like this such as Indy Heat & Super Sprint. Pretty good for as few pound back in the day, great fun as 2 player racing against a family member or friend...[leave a comment]
Amsoft release of Blagger, the Amsoft stuff was usually packed in with the system when you bought it back in the day, you usually got 10 games in the pack.
Reason I picked this up is I am wanting to get all the Amsoft releases and to actually be able to play it with my other copy not working...[leave a comment]
Essentially this is an alternative to Manic Miner, collect all items on the screen then get to the exit before the time runs out. Trouble is though it is excessively hard unlike Manic Miner where you get better the more you play.

Another port from the Spectrum version, this one isn't particularly playable and looks pretty bad, controls are quite laggy etc. Again though, the Amstrad was capable of more, it should have been more like the C64 version in the graphics department.

Based on the cheesy 80's movie which was originally based on the books. This is a half decent multi level arcade game, takes a bit of getting used to but quite fun if you have the patience.
You can see from the cover this is quite badly sun bleached, may source another copy eventually....[leave a comment]
Not a bad game, this is the Players re release of a real oldie, it released early 80's originally and was in a slew of old style arcade games.
Its a bit hard to get used to but decent enough once you get past the first act...[leave a comment]
Superb movie tie in with Tim Burton's Batman with Michael Keaton.
They got everything right with this, 2 large multi directional platform levels, 2 levels where you are in a vehicle and a mini game where you have to work out the 3 items that when combined make the Joker poison stuff.
Absolutely amazing use of the Batman license, 2 games in one, each side of the tape has a different scenario on it, one side is The Penguin and the other The Joker.
Nice arcade adventure having to find and use items in specific places with beat em up elements taking out the bad guys. Love the wa...[continue]
