These are the tape decks that the C64 used, there 1 there there that are the standard C2N from Commodore (aka 1530), two there are the ones with a light bar and azimuth alignment knob (use to adjust to best signal a tape is producing) which is great for loading up troublesome games and my favourite is the dark brown 1531 which was shipped with the Commodore 16 but I got one with my C64 with an adapter to connect it up.

Tape loading on the C64 takes about 5 minutes and some games are multi load where you finish 1 level and it loads the next, it means more work could be put into a game and it looks decent with good sound.
