Amstrad MP3 TV Modulator

Back in the day if you bought this you could use your Amstrad screen as a standard TV. Just plug an aerial into the back of the modulator and then tune in to the station using the dials on the front.

An alternative use today however since the analogue TV signals have now been turned off is using it as a tuner still but you can connect other machines via rf (coaxial) to it and tune them in essentially making it a CRT screen.

It is supposed to get its power from the screen, unfortunately my screen doesn't have the output needed so I used a wall connector (5 Volt), clipped the end off it and soldered to the inputs on its internal board so you can now plug it in directly.

Handy piece of kit.
