Bland conversion of a bland arcade machine. This was when a lot of fighters like this and Mortal Kombat were using filmed digitized type characters. Understandably the 8 Bit home computers couldn't quite pull that look off.

It plays ok, sound is average but poor source material isn't ever going to convert over well.

Exactly, yeah something like that would be amazing. Add online multi-player to it and I imagine it would be an amazing game

A remake in the vein of Battle Arena with full 3D movement in a square arena that is the pit and maybe have 3 or 4 fighters in there all going for each other would be pretty cool.

This is one of those games I wish they would remake. It wasn't great, but the graphics were mind blowing at the time
