Sometimes I think Corey & I are the only 2 people who really dislike this game. Historically speaking, a very important game but I just loathe it so. It actually turned me off to 3D games in general for a bit. If it weren't for Ocarina of Time, I'd pretty much would've given up on 2D games transitioning to 3D all together. The camera is Bubsy 3D bad...that's saying a lot...
To this day I maintain that Zelda was the only franchise that started 2D that made a successful transition to 3D. Castlevania, Mega Man, Sonic, etc, all were far worse in 3D than their 2D counterparts. 3D just doesn't work for me when it comes to classic franchises.
The camera angles make it impossible for me to get into lifespiller. I remember when I got it new back in the day it bothered me then too, but it was all so new that I just kinda rolled with it. A party of Jr wants to complete this game just you say I did it, but the more I play it, the more I think about playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 instead.
I beat this game so many times. Still one of the titles that I really enjoyed. I will say this I picked this up day one but others that are starting out playing this today it may not feel the same. I camera angles with the 3D motion turns some people off.
This game is garbage. I can't play it, that dang bo-bomb at the end of stage one is as far as I can get without losing interest. I do enjoy the music though and the memories I get when I play the game. Other than that, nah... I'm good.
Being a charter member of the "I dont like Mario 64" club, I tried to like it again about 3 months ago, and the results....still can't stand it. I just don't like 3D Mario games. There's a 17 yr old in me going "wtf?" every time I play it. Revolutionary for its time and it's importance I will never deny but boy do I dislike this game..
Your NY opinion, right there fam, and yes, I know you meant "my" not "NY".
