Original Crystal XBox, this model has the larger hard drive. Also have the original crystal controller. It has been soft modded and has a few emulators on it but I mainly use it for the XBox games.

The machine is a bit more powerful than the epic PS2 and it copes with games like Splin...[continue]

Much like the C64 this machine sports a whopping 64k ram. Made by Amstrad (owned by Alan Sugar) who now make the Sky TV Satellite TV boxes.

Alongside the C64 & Spectrum the Amstrad was the 3rd big name machine here in the UK and Europe.

The colour palette in this ma...[continue]

This is my Atari 520 STe. The ram is upgraded to 4Mb and TOS 2.06 has been installed and it has Lothareks UltraSatan attached (small box on top of machine). The UltraSatan is essentially and external hard drive but utilises an SD card so you can run demos and hard drive adapted games from it making ...[continue]

Very underrated arcade adventure set in Deadside. Also have the original Acclaim strategy guide for this which I bought when I first bought the game late 90s so it has survived well!

Love this game that much also have it on Dreamcast, N64 & the terrible PS1 version (just wasn'...[continue]

This game was so far ahead of it's time. Each playthrough saw a different set of suspects out of a pool. Then you had to keep an eye on the clock as if you have a meeting at a certain time you had to be there if the NPC would move on.

It is a superb adventure game that holds up we...[continue]

Superb 3D adventure with Indy. This came out shortly after the first Tomb Raider and plays in a similar way with levels full of traps etc. Personally I do prefer this over the first few Tim Raider games.

Does have a 16 Bit installer but you can get an easy fix for it online if you hav...[continue]

Awesome game that plays a bit like Resident Evil. It has 4 scenarios to play through which covers Zombies, Werewolves and Vampires. You play as the Stranger and have to investigate what is going on in each scenario. Plenty puzzles and action to keep you interested.

Absolutely superb first person shooter but you play as a Klingon this time! One of the best games based on the Star Trek universe alongside Elite Force.

Bit awkward to get running on modern machines but there is a workaround available on the net to help you get setup.

Absolute classic 3rd person Action Real Time Strategy game. You have 4 deities who are at war each representing the elements. You play on a large map in full 3D and have to create different troops etc before taking on the objective.

Very unique and a true PC Gaming classic which is no...[continue]

Volume 2 of the awesome League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. More globe trotting tales from the group of anti heroes. Again haven't read this one as of yet.

Quite fortunate to find this and also Vol 2 in a charity shop early last year.

Volume 1 is what they based the movie on. Granted the movie flopped but there are many myself included that really enjoyed it.

Haven't actually got round to reading this yet so need to re...[continue]

The awesome Commodore 128, looks alone make this machine standout. Booting up in 128 mode sees a green background and grey text area, looks cool but nothing really used this mode. Holding down the Commodore key (bottom left of the keyboard with the Commodore logo) while powering on shows the familia...[continue]

This is a recreated ZX Spectrum based on what is known as a Harlequin board. It looks like the original 48k Spectrum with rubber keyboard that feels like prodding dead flesh (all Ike an old rubber key calculator)

It has a DivideMMC built into the machine which is basically an SD Card ...[continue]

PC press kit for Bandai Namco's Impact Winter. Decent enough game where you have to push out into the the icy wasteland exploring derelict buildings in your area so you can upgrade your base and to keep the survivors alive. Fun game but can get a tad tedious after prolonged play.

Great game that is similar to the Zelda series, apparently originally it was going to be something called Dinosaur Planet but Nintendo wanted it to be Starfox so things got mixed up a bit and we got this. This is one of those games I have always wanted to play.

Must admit after an hou...[continue]

2nd outing for Sam Fisher (Michael Ironside as voice actor), great game with updated graphics engine over first game. Equally as playable and very engaging.

Considered by many as the pinnacle of the series to date. I usually struggle with this one, can never get through the first small village so decided to grab it on Gamecube and will endure, new control scheme is so much better than the old tank controls.

Superb game in the Metroid universe.

I had this one for my gamecube when it came out and spent hours playing it.

One of the best games released for the cube

Another decent action adventure games based this time on the second movie.

Not a bad game if a little simplistic

Based on the 3rd movie in the Harry Potter series, I do enjoy these games even though at times they are just 3rd person action adventure games where scenes have been turned into key gameplay moments.
