This painting tells the story of walking through the darkness to get to the light. I have a specific story that this applies to for me, but I prefer to leave its meaning open to interpretation to let the viewer apply it to whatever specific meaning they desire.

This painting was completed on a piece of oriented strand board that I salvaged from a dumpster. It pays homage to the holiday Dia de los Muertos, and tells the story of a love story that is so enduring that it lives on beyond "Til death do us part.
