This is my earliest acrylic painting of mine. It was originally painted on my bag that I carried starting in 1999. Today only the cover flap remains and it is in my wife's possession as she claimed it as her own in 2016 while we were dating.

This painting was completed on a piece of oriented strand board that I salvaged from a dumpster. It pays homage to the holiday Dia de los Muertos, and tells the story of a love story that is so enduring that it lives on beyond "Til death do us part.
