About Me Akintomide Akinshola (b.1995) is a contemporary Visual Artist
from a long line of crop farmers in the ancient city of Ondo, Ondo
State Nigeria, he currently lives and work in Lagos state, Nigeria.
Akintomide had strong interest in art at a very tender age which
made him explore his ideas through the use of domestic materials
while growing up. His passion for art grew and made him earned his
bachelor degree in Fine and Applied Art Education at Obafemi
Awolowo University Ile-ife, (ACE Ondo chapter) Osun State, Nigeria.
Akintomide has shown in group exhibitions both locally and
internationally. In a modern world that the importance of
relationship and companionship has been underestimated
Akintomide’s works are documentations of the importance of
relationship, creating works that reawakening scenes that brings us
together as human.
